Mike Edward was a man of many passions…

He embraced life with enthusiasm and a twinkle in his eye. A technology aficionado, he shared his love for gadgets with his family, taking them on exciting trips – including to Gadget Show Live in Birmingham.

His saying, "Brexit means Brexit" – often shared with a chuckle – reflected his lighthearted take on life.

Despite his famous sense of humour, Mike was serious about his local community. Whether through the Starbeck Swimming Club or the Neighbourhood Watch, he was always there, camera in hand, ready to capture the spirit of togetherness.

Mike was a loving father and husband. These roles were the cornerstones of his life. His happiest moments were on family holidays, exploring Cyprus, Spain and France – or simply enjoying time on his beloved boat.
